MMR building site in nov 2005 - the old steelframe from the O.M.I.A. shed has been taken away - meitaki maatawhat about taking the useless white wall out of the view ?wouldn´t it be nice to get rid of that old ship wreck ? (sink it down to the bottom of the ocean - it is only steel, that goes back into nature)Sea and sky over Rarotonga is always beautyful - archi is happy to be back on the island ;-)

... looking onto the MMR building site at Avatiu Harbour in November 2005 it is visible, that the old steelframe from the O.M.I.A. shed has been taken away. - Meitaki Maata. Yes, well done, that is very good. - The existing foundation can be used and overcasted for the new MMR building that is proposed to be on streetlevel height.

Looking onto the existing foundation platform.Platform has to be cleaned from oildirt please before overcasting is possible. The white wall and the shipwreck should be taken out of the picture to prepare the site for building - please. The new MMR building with its simple environment and the communal busbay will serve Cook Islanders for generations.

Look onto the existing foundation platform. - From a technical point of view it is important to clean the surface form oildirt before an overcast for the new building is possible. It would be nice if the items idicated in red could be taken out of the picture to get the site ready for building the new MMR / O.M.I.A at Avatiu Harbour.

... Look onto MMR building site from the pacific Ocean. See the marine patrol boat "Te Kukupa" on the left - the empty space in between is the building site - the ExMMR building where the MMR startet some 30 years on the right. It woud be nice to have all departments of the MMR together again at the waterfront. Kia manuia - archi
