Born on Rarotonga in 1983, being half Rarotongan and half from
Aitutaki, but she was raised in Australia by her parents from the
age of seven. - Most of the following years she lived in Sydney.

Since she was a young girl aged 11 Kura played music and began
early to perform with her sister everywhere in Sydney, where she
also had classical singing classes for 3 years by an opera singer.

In 2005 she came back to Rarotonga. Kura felt "it was time for me
to get in touch with my roots, to come back home, to find myself and
plus mum and dad live here now and we haven´t seen for a while"

It turned out to be a wonderful evening full of joy. The sound of her voice was
carried all over the place. - Kura, that is vocals and guitar. She is an artist and
interpreter of old school and contemporary music. - Let the rhythm take contol.

On Saturdays she sings in public at the Vaima Restaurant from 7pm to 9:30pm.
Tuesdays you´ll meet her while having dinner at the Pawpaw Patch Restaurant
All Wednesdays are reserved for performing at the POINT Restaurant / MBCH.

Kura plays Soul, old school, Rhythm n Blues and Jazz. Evergreens, songs you
know and realy like. But she also works on writing her own songs & melodies.
